The PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscopes are entry models of Nikon Fieldscopes and successors of the Spotting Scope RA III series. The PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscope main bodies are about 20% lighter than the current RA III spotting scopes.The newly developed zoom eyepiece lens minimises colour aberration at the edge of the field of view, and offers long eye relief for viewing comfort.
Three types of eyepiece lenses with digiscoping compatibility which connect to a wide variety of COOLPIX-series compact digital cameras, by using the FSB-series Digital Camera Bracket.
• Lightweight main body reduced by about 20% compared to the current model.
• Minimized colour aberration at the edge of the field of view and long eye relief are achieved with the newly developed zoom eyepiece lens.
• Large objective lens (60mm & 82mm) for a brighter field of view.
• All lenses and prisms in the main body and the eyepieces are multilayer coated.

• The digiscoping mount which can be connected to a wide variety of COOLPIX-series compact digital cameras using an FSB-series Digital Camera Bracket is available for the three newly developed models of eyepiece lenses.

Endeavor HD 65S
Endeavor HD Spotting Scope is the most advanced piece of optical equipment Vanguard has ever produced. The optical system employs extra-low dispersion glass (ED) to ensure accurate color rendition and virtually eliminate color fringing. The lenses are all fully multi-coated to ensure optimum light transmission and feature a phase-coated BAK4 roof prism. Endeavor 65S comes with a 65mm objective lens and straight eyepiece with 15-45x zoom magnification. It features an extendable rubber covered eyecup and boasts impressive eye relief even at the highest zoom settings. It also provides a very impressive field of view. A built-in sunshield is included to eliminate glare in direct sunlight and it includes a padded raincoat with sling for carry and protection. Endeavor HD is also equipped with fine and coarse focusing wheels for quick and precision fine tuning adjustments. The Endeavor HD mounts directly to Vanguard tripod heads (and others) that are equipped with the universal mounting plate without the use of a quick shoe.

These new EDG VR Fieldscope models are the world's first*1 Fieldscopes to incorporate a lens-shift type VR function. The vibration reduction algorithm, based on Nikon's sophisticated VR mechanism used in NIKKOR VR lenses, has been optimised for these scopes.
The VR function accurately compensates for external vibrations caused by wind and operations such as focusing, panning and tilting. It makes composition easy by reducing vibrations to approximately 1/8*² of the image blur caused by vibrations during normal observation. This also enhances focusing accuracy even when manual focus is used during super-telephoto digiscoping. The system provides an effect equivalent to a shutter speed approximately two stops*ò faster and is especially effective when digiscoping in bad conditions such as windy weather.
The EDG VR Fieldscopes also benefit from the use of Nikon's performance-proven Nikon's ED (Extra-low dispersion) glass that assures natural colour reproduction and crisp clarity. Straight models, in addition, feature dielectric high-reflectivity multilayer prism coatings for higher reflection rate and contrast than ever.

Overview
High-performance laser rangefinder provides precise, high-speed measurement of distances up to 550m/600 yards with an increment of 0.1m/yards.
The 6x magnification, multicoated lenses, large ocular lens and wide field of view ensure easy and immediate subject acquisition. The Distant Target Priority Mode, where the farthest target is measured, makes the PROSTAFF 5 ideal for accurate ranging when the subject might be obscured by woods, bush or grass. The switchable LED illumination ensures that the internal display remains visible in dark conditions.
The PROSTAFF 5 is ideal for hunting and rapid general distance measurement.
The Laser Rangefinder PROSTAFF 5 is scheduled for availability in May 2012.
