Highly accurate multi-mode professional Laser Range Finder. Range finding capabilities include: Distance (straight and beeline), height, height difference and angle of projection. The LRF Professional range is designed to deliver a variety of highly accurate distance measurements with the press of a button. It has been ergonomically constructed to fit comfortably in your hand with easy access to both of the mode control buttons. Its range finding capabilities include: distance, height, height difference and angle. The LRF requires a 3V CR2 battery and will automatically turn off after 15 seconds of no operation to save power. The LRF has been manufactured with an eye safe CE approved laser and can be used in golf, construction, shooting, site survey and a many other tasks. Standard Mode Measures the straight line distance to the target you are aiming at. Beeline Mode Measures the horizontal distance to a target. Height Mode Measures how high an object or target is in relation to the range finder. Holding down the 'On' button on 'Standard' 'Beeline' or 'Height' mode will continuously scan and update distances/height/angle in real-time as you move the LRF around. The PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscopes are entry models of Nikon Fieldscopes and successors of the Spotting Scope RA III series. The PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscope main bodies are about 20% lighter than the current RA III spotting scopes.The newly developed zoom eyepiece lens minimises colour aberration at the edge of the field of view, and offers long eye relief for viewing comfort. Three types of eyepiece lenses with digiscoping compatibility which connect to a wide variety of COOLPIX-series compact digital cameras, by using the FSB-series Digital Camera Bracket. Lightweight main body reduced by about 20% compared to the current model.- Minimized colour aberration at the edge of the field of view and long eye relief are achieved with the newly developed zoom eyepiece lens.

These new EDG VR Fieldscope models are the world's first*1 Fieldscopes to incorporate a lens-shift type VR function. The vibration reduction algorithm, based on Nikon's sophisticated VR mechanism used in NIKKOR VR lenses, has been optimised for these scopes. The VR function accurately compensates for external vibrations caused by wind and operations such as focusing, panning and tilting. It makes composition easy by reducing vibrations to approximately 1/8*² of the image blur caused by vibrations during normal observation. This also enhances focusing accuracy even when manual focus is used during super-telephoto digiscoping. The system provides an effect equivalent to a shutter speed approximately two stops*² faster and is especially effective when digiscoping in bad conditions such as windy weather.
